Join me for Boise’s annual Soul Food Festival! The festival celebrates Black culture and nurtures racial understanding and harmony within the greater Treasure Valley community. The festival showcases African-American-inspired soul food, music, dancing, culture, and businesses.

The Idaho State Democratic Party will hold a Presidential Caucus to select a presidential preference and elect delegates to the State Convention on Thursday, May 23. The County Caucuses will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. local time and will be hosted in meetings assigned by county parties statewide.

I will be attending the Presidential Caucus at Timberline High School on Thursday, May 23. Registered Democratic and Unaffiliated voters should consider coming by, saying hi, and participating in the democratic process of nominating our President.

The League of Women Voters are no longer sponsoring a forum for all District 1 commissioner candidates on May 2. Instead, they are hosting a forum for all Republican Candidates for County Commissioner on May 9.
